Auskick is the perfect introduction to football for young players looking to learn new skills, make friends and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. At Mount Eliza Junior Football Club, our Auskick program focuses on participation, confidence and enjoyment, helping children develop fundamental football skills through engaging activities and modified games. Whether your child is kicking a football for the first time or already loves the game, Auskick is a great way to get involved in the Redlegs community.

What is Auskick?
Auskick is the AFL’s official introductory football program for children.
Sessions are designed to:
- Build confidence and coordination
- Develop basic football skills
- Encourage teamwork and participation
- Create a fun and inclusive experience
Programs are delivered in a relaxed, family-friendly environment led by volunteers and coaches.
Who Can Join?
Auskick is suitable for boys and girls typically aged 5–12 years, regardless of experience or ability level. Everyone is welcome.
What to Expect
Each session includes:
- Fun football activities and games
- Skill development including kicking, handballing and marking
- Small-sided match play
- A supportive and encouraging atmosphere
The focus is always on:

What to Bring. Players should bring:
- Comfortable sports clothing
- Football boots or runners
- Drink bottle
- Mouthguard (recommended)
